Is ReTreat a solo sitter or an agency?
ReTreat is a licensed LLC and a professional agency. We assign you a small, dedicated team of 2–4 vetted care providers who know your pets, home, and routines. That means coverage is seamless, whether it’s a Tuesday walk or a two-week trip.
How do I know your team members can be trusted in my home?
Every ReTreat team member passes a national criminal background check. We are fully insured, bonded, and covered by workers’ compensation. We also schedule a free in-person Meet & Greet before any service, so you can meet your providers and feel comfortable leaving them in your home.
What makes ReTreat different from Rover or a solo sitter I find online?
We provide accountability, consistency, and structure. If a team member is unavailable, we have coverage—your pets are never left without care. We also carry proper insurance, follow PSI’s standards, and train and manage every team member.
Are your sitters certified in Pet First Aid / CPR?
Yes! Every team member is certified within their first 90 days. We keep detailed profiles for each pet—including medications, allergies, and vet contacts—so we can respond quickly and correctly if needed.
Do you care for pets other than dogs?
Absolutely. We provide in-home care for cats, rabbits, chickens, and other companion animals. Multi-species households are no problem—we handle them in a single visit.
What does a typical visit look like, and will I get updates?
After every visit, you receive notes and photos via our client platform, Time To Pet. You’ll get feeding, potty, and behavior updates so you always know how your pet is doing.
